With over 30 years in leadership roles at Niagara Mohawk/National Grid his experience in regulatory, legislative, customer management and community engagement has provided the knowledge to guide clients in their regulatory challenges as they meet sustainable energy solutions. Previous to his experience in the electricity and gas sector, he held positions as a Preliminary Design Specialist and Assistant Program Manager with United Technologies Building Systems/Carrier His recent contribution to the New York State Climate Action Council provided recommendations to the Scoping Plan to meet NY's Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA).

He has advanced experience with analytics and market research in renewable energy credits, carbon pricing, utility electric bills and trends in the energy and climate space. With over six years at Honeywell he was the lead in developing a battery storage chemistry lab in the Buffalo NY facility seeking optimization of Company patented chemistry within traditional battery chemistry to increase efficiency and reduce threat of thermal runaway. Prior to his completion of his Ph.D. in chemistry he completed two study programs in Germany at Heidelberg University and TU Dortmund University.
